Wedding Party

Meet the bridesmaid's

Gracie Troche
Gracie Troche - Maid of Honor
I've known Amicia for a really long time. We met at CCA when we were 10 years old. I didn't know when I met her that she would be my best friend for life, but she's not just my best friend; she's really my sister, and I'll tell you why. Many people speak sweetly or talk about things they want to do but never follow up with action. Because I saw this so much growing up, I've always been cautious. As a rule, I look beyond words and examine people's character. I ask questions like: How do they carry themselves? Do their actions match their words? How do they act in public versus in private? Are they consistent? As a rule of thumb, I apply the same scrutiny to myself for accountability. Both Amicia and I come from families with strong values. Her family is also my family. Coming from a Christian background, one thing that has been dear to me and that I still practice and work on today are the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. In my sister, in the way she carries herself and treats others—family, friends, and strangers—I've seen her exhibit each of these fruits. She is truly one of the dearest people I've ever met. Her love towards others is genuine. She speaks honestly and truthfully, never putting anyone down or leading with false hope. It was evident to me in 5th grade that there were never any ill intentions behind her acts of kindness towards me. Her kindness is genuine and something rare in the world, something I wasn't always used to. She moves peacefully, never inviting negativity but always providing optimism and positivity to any challenge she or anyone else may face. If you know her, there's a joy that shines so brightly it's contagious, and you can't help but share in it. Her patience and self-control are remarkable. I'm still trying to emulate that part. I want everything yesterday! Both of these qualities together are virtues, and I see her effortlessly practicing them. Her goodness and gentleness are something I continue to aspire to. She treats everyone with these fruits, no matter what. I am so thankful to be a part of this great celebration in the unity of Mr. and Mrs. Sutton. They say marriage is hard, but in my marriage journey, I haven't found it hard at all. I believe it's the morals and values (fruits of the spirit) we not only share but also put into practice together. We check in on each other, continue to better ourselves over time, communicate, and it still feels fresh. I wish you both that same journey in being able to grow in the fruits of the spirit together and that your marriage journey continues to be easy because, in speaking with you both, it's evident that you already put it into practice. May your marriage and new journey together thrive abundantly with the fruits of the spirit, and may your happiness be abundant daily. I know that as long as you both continue to treat each other as you did on the first day, your marriage will truly flourish. I'm glad you found each other on that beautiful day because it has turned into beautiful years to come. Congratulations to the Suttons. Galatians 5:22-23

You provided me a space to complete my senior project, encouraged me to rest before my first law school exam, and connected me with your professional network, as I struggled on my first job hunt. You are confident, charismatic, kind, and honest. You are 100% the easiest person to talk to, and I can always count on you to provide sound advice. Someone I look up to, you exemplify the big sister I always wanted. I am blessed to have a lifelong sister in you regardless of the passed time & physical distance because our relationship is easy. I am incredibly honored to be apart of your special day. I am beyond excited that you met your forever person & pray for nothing, but the very best for your union. May God continue to bless you all, and your life together.

Dalton Garrison
Dalton Garrison - Groomsman
Hi there my name is Dalton, I currently live in Toronto Canada. For all those of you that don’t know Canada, Toronto is the most populous city in Canada, a multicultural city, and the country's financial and commercial centre. Its location on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario, which forms part of the border between Canada and the United States. As an Environmental Studies and Geography major, hailing from the University of Waterloo, it is my obligation to share this information, as this is the how and where Dan and I met. As University of Waterloo Alumni we forged a solid friendship that has lasted almost over 20 years. You could probably do the math on how old we both are, I just look younger. I could go on..but I’ll save that for the wedding day. Long story short, Dan has been a brother to me. We have had many adventures together, while in university, grad school, traveling across the globe in our shared passion for exploring new places, photography, music, as well as supporting each other through life's various challenges and unexpected surprises. There are not enough words to express how I am happy to see this particular day among anything else happen for my brother, who has been searching and searching and searching and searching …and did I already say searching for love?!? 👀.. to finally find the love of his life Amicia. I am excited to be apart of this up coming matrimony in the beautiful island of Jamaica. I look forward to ringing in the festivities with lots of love, laughter, fun as we forged new memories, meet new family members and friends. Here’s to Dan and Amicia’s up and coming wedding day! P.s. See you all on the Dance Floor!

Where do I begin? Daniel and I are cousins, but we grew up together like brothers. Every Thanksgiving, every Christmas, every summer, Sundays and birthdays. You name it we were together, like family should be. It seems like only yesterday we were building tents out of Aunties bedsheets. And decades later, you’ve accomplish some of the same dreams we had as kids. You are one of the most talented, humble & intelligent people I know. You deserve this moment, and every joy that comes with this new chapter. The greatest gift in this world is love, and you’ve found it! I wish you both a life full of love and laughter. May God bless you both on your journey together as husband and wife. Congratulations Cuz, & welcome to the family Amicia! With Love, Aldean “He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the LORD.” (Pro 18:22)
