Seven mile is Jamaica's best beach. Take in the views, snap a pic, and take a dip. A must see attraction.
Mix things up a bit with an ATV adventure.
Roughly 10 miles west of Montego Bay, in Jamaica’s Hanover Parish, stands the enormous Tryall Water Wheel.
Originally constructed around 200 years ago, the 30-foot-diameter cast iron wheel was used to grind sugar cane produced on the Tryall Estate.
The wheel was damaged during the slave rebellion in the 1830s. However, thanks to subsequent renovations, it is today the last working water wheel in Jamaica.
Rick's Cafe was the first public bar and restaurant of its type on the West End Cliffs, offering an alternative to Negril's majestic seven mile beach. From the beginning, Rick's Cafe boasted an unrivaled view of the sunset from its naturally formed cliffs. Over the years, visitors and locals alike have designated Rick's Cafe as Negril's premier gathering spot and our sunsets have become a Jamaican tradition. We will be taking in the sunset at the world famous Rick's Cafe!
Rio Bueno is one of the locations that has been hotly debated as the site of Columbus’ first landing in 1494, the other sites being Discovery Bay and St. Ann’s Bay. Given the presence of the river and the horseshoe shape of the bay, Rio Bueno does seem to be the most plausible location. Additionally, artifacts attributable to the Tainos, the indigenous people, have been found in the area.
A few movies have been shot here with the most notable being the 1960s “A High Wind in Jamaica” and the 1990s Wide Saragasso Sea.
Presently, the main draw is the Rio Bueno or Bengal River, which empties into the Rio Bueno Harbour, one of Jamaica’s deepest harbours.
Climb waterfalls, swim in the cool river pools, and experience the natural beauty of Jamaica's most popular attraction.
Undoubtedly, the best-undiscovered gem nestled in the tropical countryside of Ocho Rios, Jamaica. There you will climb along the crystal cascades and jump off the rocks into the beautiful turquoise pools, or simply enjoy the view.
A must see bar located in the middle of the ocean.
